Fontabbeye is a pale limestone which often enjoys some great examples of visible fossils and ammonites.
Fontabbeye is a creamy limestone, with pale ivory and pearly tones with an occasional mottled effect. The gentle tumbling produces a slightly rounded broken edge, and gives a subtle aged look. A popular limestone flooring choice which can be used in a variety of settings.
Here is the Fontabbeye limestone on the floor of our customer’s new kitchen: the kitchen is so newly completed that there’s wasn’t even a kettle on the worktop when we visited to take these pictures of the finished job.
There are probably not many kitchens around where you might be able to claim that an Aga that can be remotely controlled by text message, website, or a smartphone app is upstaged by anything, but we think that the Fontabbeye stone floor gives it a run for its money!
